For optimal comfort and efficiency in electric driving, a reliable home charging solution is essential.
This new generation Volvo wallbox is available in three variants:
- With socket
- With a 7m integrated charging cable
- With socket and energy meter (for private-business cost allocation)
Volvo's wallbox maintains a high quality and performance and supports all electric vehicles with 1 or 3-phase AC charging. It is future-proofed for bi-directional charging.
Bidirectional charging can help keep energy consumption costs down and make the wallbox more efficient and sustainable.
With the Volvo's wallbox, you can charge your electric vehicle up to 22 kW or your plug-in hybrid/Twin Engine up to 6.4 kW.
The wallbox can be installed on a wall indoors or outdoors close to where the car is parked.
The wallbox can be connected via Wi-Fi, 4G modem or Ethernet cable. Schedule charging, view your charging history, restrict access to the wallbox and much more via your Volvo Cars app.
You can use the wallbox to charge up to 32 A three phase, provided that this is supported by the property's electrical system. The charging time depends on how much charge the car has when charging starts.
Dynamic LED lighting on the front of the wallbox illuminates in different colours in order to clearly indicate charging status, for example.
