Safely in place
Luggage or pets can move forward with considerable force during hard braking or a collision. An original Volvo safety grille forms a strong barrier between the luggage compartment and the passenger compartment, helping to protect the occupants.
The steel safety grille has been specially developed for your Volvo and, thanks to its model-specific fit, integrates neatly with the interior. The grille is practical to use, has a strong construction and has been fully tested according to Volvo's high safety standards.

Protection for passengers, luggage and pets
The safety grille helps prevent loose luggage or pets from being thrown forward from the luggage compartment during hard braking or a collision. It creates a strong barrier between the load area and the occupants.
The grille has a robust steel construction and is designed to fit neatly into the interior of your Volvo. Attention has also been paid to the finish, with the safety grille featuring the Volvo logo.
- Original Volvo design.
- Helps prevent luggage from being thrown forward during hard braking.
- Suitable for separating pets from the passenger compartment.

Practical for everyday use
The safety grille is fitted to the designated mounting points in the vehicle. This creates a strong and secure barrier between the rear seat and the luggage compartment.
Do you need additional loading space and want to fold down the rear seat backrest? The safety grille can be removed, allowing you to make full use of the luggage compartment when transporting larger items.
An original Volvo safety grille is therefore a practical addition if you regularly carry luggage, a dog or other cargo in the luggage compartment and want to provide additional protection for the vehicle's occupants.
