Spare wheel, Volvo V60
The original Volvo "Tempa spare" spare wheel for the Volvo V60 and V60 Cross Country provides a practical solution in the event of a flat tyre. Having a spare wheel on board allows you to get back on the road quickly and ensures you are better prepared for unexpected situations while travelling.
For most versions, including petrol, diesel and mild hybrid models, the spare wheel is safely and neatly stored underneath the luggage compartment floor. This keeps the luggage compartment fully usable while ensuring the spare wheel is readily available when needed. The complete spare wheel kit for these versions consists of the spare wheel, a foam block for the tools, a foam block for the jack, a foam block underneath the spare wheel, two clips and upper and lower retaining screws.
On V60 Twin Engine models, the spare wheel cannot be stored underneath the luggage compartment floor. An optional spare wheel bag with two retaining straps is available, allowing the spare wheel to be safely secured inside the luggage compartment. Foam blocks, clips and retaining screws are not supplied for Twin Engine models.
Note!
- Never drive the vehicle with more than one "Tempa spare" spare wheel fitted. When a "Tempa spare" wheel is fitted, the maximum permitted speed is 80 km/h (50 mph).
- On Volvo V60 Polestar Engineered models, the "Tempa spare" wheel cannot be fitted to the front axle due to the larger brakes.
