Volvo On Call Subscription Renewal – Volvo Cars App

Continue using the connected features of your Volvo through the Volvo Cars app. With this digital renewal, you can easily extend your Volvo On Call subscription for connected services by one year. We can also reactivate your subscription if it has already expired.

Depending on your Volvo, the Volvo Cars app allows you to remotely access various functions, such as controlling the climate, checking the locking status, locking and unlocking the car, viewing its location and checking vehicle information.

Extend your subscription by one or multiple years
Each subscription purchased provides a one-year extension. For example, if your current subscription is valid until 1 December 2026, purchasing one renewal will extend it until 1 December 2027. Would you like to extend your subscription for several years? Simply increase the quantity in your shopping cart. A quantity of 2 provides a two-year extension, a quantity of 3 provides a three-year extension, and so on.

Already expired? We can reactivate it
Has your Volvo On Call subscription already expired? No problem. We can reactivate the subscription for you at no additional cost. Once processed, the subscription is activated automatically and no additional action is required from you.

Not yet connected to the Volvo Cars app?
If you are not yet using the Volvo Cars app or your Volvo ID has not yet been linked to your car, we can link your Volvo ID to your Volvo free of charge. Simply enter the email address associated with your Volvo ID when placing your order. If you do not yet have a Volvo ID, please create one before placing your order.

Processing your renewal
We will process your subscription renewal within four business days. Once the renewal has been completed, you will receive a confirmation from us by email. The new expiry date of your subscription will then be visible in the Volvo Cars app. As this is a digital product, no shipping costs apply.

Volvo On Call / connected services and Volvo Assistance are not the same
The Volvo On Call subscription for connected services provides access to the available connected and remote functions of your Volvo through the Volvo Cars app. Volvo Assistance is Volvo's roadside assistance service and is separate from this subscription. This product therefore only extends your subscription for connected services and does not extend any Volvo Assistance roadside assistance agreement.

Important – only for Volvos within the European Union
We can only renew subscriptions for Volvos that were both originally delivered within the European Union and are currently located within the European Union. Your Volvo must meet both conditions. If the vehicle was originally delivered outside the European Union or is currently located outside the European Union, we cannot process the renewal. If you place an order despite your vehicle not meeting these conditions, you are not entitled to a refund.

Required when ordering
To process your subscription renewal, the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) of your Volvo is required. Please make sure you enter the correct VIN when placing your order.
