Volvo On Call Subscription Renewal

If you wish to continue using the remote control functions in the Volvo Cars app, you must renew or reactivate your connected services subscription. Renew your current subscription here or reactivate an expired one.

Notification of upcoming Volvo On Call subscription expiry
For Volvo model year 2011 and later, you will receive a notification when your subscription is about to expire and needs to be renewed. Forty-five days before the subscription ends, the message “Volvo On Call subscription about to expire” will appear on the car’s display. Users of the Volvo Cars app will also receive notifications via the app.

Volvo On Call subscription deactivated
When the subscription has expired, the message “On Call deactivated” will appear on the car’s display (applies to model year 2011 and later). This message disappears as soon as the subscription is reactivated. While the subscription is expired, you cannot use Volvo On Call services or the Volvo Cars app. However, emergency functions such as the SOS button and automatic collision notification remain active. Want to use Volvo On Call again? Then the subscription must be renewed.

Volvo Assistance is not the same as the Volvo On Call subscription
Volvo Assistance is included free of charge for the first years (depending on the market) when purchasing a new Volvo. After this period, roadside assistance remains free of charge in most markets, provided the car is regularly serviced at an authorized Volvo workshop. If your roadside assistance agreement has expired, costs may apply for assistance provided.

Renewing or reactivating your subscription
When you order a renewal through us, one year will be added to the current expiration date. Would you like to extend for multiple years? Simply adjust the quantity in your shopping cart. The renewal will be processed within four working days. Once your order is completed, you will receive a confirmation email.
